About Layne Johnson

Layne Johnson is a children’s picture book writer who writes stories with humor and heart. She has written four picture books. Her work highlights SEL themes, celebrates diversity, and often draws from her lived experiences with neurodiversity and food insecurity. A proud member of SCBWI, Layne is currently seeking representation. When she’s not writing, she loves to read, perform on trapeze, and take long walks in the woods.
